Pleated diaper bag

I bought a sewing machine yesterday and made an awesome diaper bag! I've never made anything with so many steps and it turned out great!  My sewing projects usually look like it was done in 7th grade home-ec.  Thanks to AMY for the block idea and to THIS LADY for the pattern. I tweaked it and made it bigger, put a bottle pocket on the inside and lined it with vinyl in case of leaks.
I'm so excited to have a sewing machine!  I need to come up with some more sewing projects!

You are amazing. I better stick with place mats for awhile longer before tackling such a project. I'll get braver. My mom got a fabulous quilting machine for Christmas that has been really fun to play with.
