We went to Thurm's family reunion a couple weeks ago and had lots of fun. We played lots of games, croquet, bocce, fed ducks, had BBQ's, roasted marshmellows, went down a huge slip & slide, went to the temple (all the kids did baptisms for the dead. David Archeletta was there in the group before them, and needless to say, its all they talked about the rest of the day : ) One of the granddaughters organized a book of poems & letters from everyone in the family for Grandpa--it is such a keepsake. I read through it and bawled & bawled (keep in mind this was on my due date).
It was such a fun time. I love Thurm's family so much and feel so lucky that I married into it.
